In the periodic table of the elements, hydrogen is the firsts element .Its symbol is H , atomic no. is 1 and the weight is 1.00794(7) .  Chemical  property  is  highly flammable ,  most reactive ,  also explosive and  it  can form  compounds with other substances directly . Hydrogen  is  colourless , no  taste and  smell molecule gas  . Hydrogen is very different to liquefy (boiling point is -252.87*C and critical temperature is -239.9*C) and its freezing point is -259.14*C.

On the earth , hydrogen of the mass no. is 1 , there is about 99.98% . There is a very small number of  the mass no. is 2 , there is about 0.015% ,and the name is Liquid H2 . And the mass no. is 3 , about 10-16% ,the name is Tritium (3H) .

Hydrogen is the lightest element and is by far the most abundant element in the universe, making up about about 90% of the universe by weight . Hydrogen as water (H2O) is absolutely essential to life and is present in all organic compounds.Hydrogen gas was used in lighter-than-air balloons for transport but is far too dangerous because of the fire risk (Hindenburg).
